Vonda is a small, vibrant community just 35 minutes North East of Saskatoon, SK. Now that highway 27 has been paved, this makes the commute much more enjoyable and attractive to those that want the country lifestyle.  Our population is steady at approximately 350 people,  from first time home buyers, young families to empty nesters and retirees.

While many of the town’s residents commute to the city for work, a large employer in Vonda is the agricultural equipment manufacturer, Highline Manufacturing. Other business employers such as the Vonda Co-op, Hub International, Versatile Concepts Industries Ltd and Vanderstelt Fire Protection are all located in town. 

Water is supplied by our Water Treatment plant giving us the peace of mind of reliable and safe water.  Garbage is collected weekly and recycle collected every other week.

The area has a rich multi-cultural background with a strong French presence, that has been maintained by Ecole Providence. There are two churches in town, Roman Catholic with weekly Mass and Ukrainian Catholic with Divine Liturgy at regular intervals. With local services such as a Senior’s Center, Post Office, The Hotel restaurant & bar, Sig’s restaurant, J2 automotive repair shop, and other local home businesses, you can be assured you will find what you need without ever having to leaving town!
